I had a 1958 Gottlieb Double Action woodrail. Total PITA to get the backglass out...as I recall, all the stuff needs to come out from the back: the board holding all the electronics, and some wood pieces in the corners holding the backglass in at the back, if I rimember correctly. I am not sure if yours would be the same.
