This sucks.
I did a hardtop on my Taxi and it plays great. However, if I were to do it all over again, I would have probably just done a total playfield swap. Taxi is a nightmare of a game with the three ramps that are all intertwined and getting the Gorbie gate to work right after the hardtop install was a 5-6 hour adjustment in itself.
I love the hardtop product and I think they did a good job with these faulty examples, but its a big job, don't let any 20 minute Todd Tuckey video fool you. I honestly can't think of being more nervous in any pinball work I've ever done than pulling off the adhesive on that hardtop and adhering it to the playfield....my heart rate was at 140!
