I have been trying to repair this Gottlieb Bronco for several years now. I really want to get the yellowed lacquer off, but most everything I've tried (Magic Eraser, Naptha, acetone, 97% IPA, and Mean Green), have taken off too much ink/paint with the lacquer. Does anyone have any suggestion of how to dissolve this cracked, yellowed lacquer without destroying everything else? I know it may be impossible, but I thought I'd ask before I get any more destructive with it.

I think just about anything I try is going to be time consuming, so that's okay. I'll give brute force sanding and heat/scrape a shot on some inconspicuous under plastic areas.
