Does your machine hold the high scores and other data?
if so, there is something else installed. Perhaps something similar to NVRAM.
So do not do anything just yet. Lets get some more information from you.

So, looking at the U212, Someone has some sort of memory installed with an internal lithium battery. I am not familiar with that item. But I know others will be. So you do not need to do anything. You are fine. Unless someone tells you what is installed is junk.
That memory uses the battery to hold the settings and high when the machine is not powered up.
