Quoted from JRC6000:

I'm searching for any advice on getting some replacement plastics for an old machine. I am working on an old Williams Woodrail called Soccer Kick-off. I think it's going to clean up pretty nicely. The plastics are present, but are all in pretty bad shape. I'd like another set, but this machine being so old I obviously can't find any. I've contacted Shay a few times and gotten no response.
Anyone know where I can get some new plastics made?

I'd be willing to re-create the art for you on the plastics, that's a task that is right up my alley It might require you to send them to me for proper scanning and measuring, but if you are game so am I Feel free to drop me a DM. Cheers!

To add on, re-setting these with modern typefaces would be questionable. This lettering was originally all done by hand, in an old school sign painter gothic lettering.

Quoted from dr_nybble:

Futura is not a modern typeface, it was created in 1927. If it was hand-drawn, someone was copying Futura. Useful as a starting point anyways.
Later machines have fonts that look much more refined -- probably using Letraset?
Also wonder whether they could have used one of these?
I've got one, need to try it out one day.

For sure, I just meant setting the letters with a digital font wouldn't look quite right.

I would guess the original art on these plastics was drawn by someone with a brush or nib, by hand, at his drafting table. With a cigarette
