Vireland are you sure about the screw length? Not questioning you but I saw someone say 1/2 inch in another thread. I am just afraid of going through cabinet.

Ok thanks will pick up washers. Back cabinet sounds alot harder to reach then the front, any tips for that other then pull playfield out and to the side?

    Quoted from PinMonk:

100% sure. I use the screws I put in the OP myself on multiple machines, including the Iron Maiden Pro I used to take those pictures. Never popped out the other side or even raised a dimple. That said, ALWAYS do the check I recommend in the instructions, but the goal is to have as deep and wide a bite as possible into the cab for the best hold. 1/2" definitely doesn't cut it. 5/8" is probably the bare minimum. 3/4" in the OP is just right, in my experience.

Thanks for this, doing this tomorrow all 4 sides.

Do you just re-staple the ground wire in the same orientation after having to remove it?

    Quoted from Utesichiban:

Let me get this straight. Stern is charging 6-9k for these games and people are having to do all of this shit just to make sure the cabinet doesn't fall apart?!!
Coupled with their playfield issues, why do people continue to buy their crap and accept this? Their QC and cust cutting measures are disgraceful. All of this should be taken care of and addressed by Stern (and before they even ship).

Because there games are the best on the market. Sound, code, speed of gameplay and themes and licenses. Personally I prefer them to all other manufacturers.

All manufacturers have issues, there is no perfection in pinball manufacturing.

You are welcome not to buy it but to most of us a 30 minute fix for a game were planning on keeping is not a big deal.

I personally feel awesome supporting a electronic game manufacturer in the USA, so few things are made here that I enjoy. It's one of the better parts of dumping money in the hobby.
