I have a re-import JM with an empty coin door. Some googling leads me to believe a c220b electronic comparator went in here, probably connected to some kind of credit board. There is a mechanical counter in the bottom of the cab.

I found a pic of a STTNG with the c220b installed.

The c220b's are generally set up for AUS or UK coinage.

Does anyone know if the mech holders Suzo Happ sells fit into this slot? Can I just get a holder and appropriate mech and re wire the switches up?

It's all coin controls stuff as far as I can tell. I just don't know if the doors universally accept equipment.

Why do you want it? Are you going to be taking quarters to play?

Yup.

Indeed! I was just going to see if I could spend 20 bucks for a mech holder first. i.e. this puppy http://na.suzohapp.com/amusement_products/coin_doors/42-3371-00
