I was told by an experienced tech that I have a bad rectifier on my Whirlwind machine. I ordered a WPC-PDA12697X power driver rebuild kit from Marco with all new caps and rectifiers. It arrived today, but without the caps. Then when I check the rectifiers they're not the same as what the manual specifies.
The Whirlwind manual specifies 35A, 200V. The rectifiers they sent are 35A, 400V. I don't know enough to tell if that high voltage rating means it will not be suitable on my board... or if it just means it was spec'd to handle higher voltages so it should possibly be more reliable on my board.
Thanks for any help!
