I'm wondering what methods have been tried for recreating ramps that are NLA. One of the things holding up my Hollywood Heat re-theme (besides actually picking a new theme and producing artwork) is figuring out what I'm going to do with the ramp. The existing (thin/flimsy) ramp has issues, and I can't locate an OEM replacement. Even if I could, I'm not sure I want to add another OEM ramp as they are crap and it may not fit the new theme.

I'm not set on replacing it with a plastic ramp. I was considering using fiberglass as its fairly easy to work with and can be finished easily with color or artwork. I just don't know how well it'd hold up considering I haven't seen one on a pin before. I'm also considering metal, but not sure how easy it'd be to make a replacement, and suspect the only finishing I could do would be with decals.
