Maybe Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn?

    That could work.

I'm just glad Rush wasn't codenamed DeLorean or something. The time machine theme of Rush has me thinking it could be a LONG time before we see a BTTF game but it's not completely out of the question.

    What was LOTR codename?

According to George Gomez, the code name stuff started with ACDC.

Most of those are commissioned games and may not have code names at all. Just a thought

Ha. James is on my LE. Is that one of the newer led versions? There was also a special “remake” version that I didn’t even know existed until recently.

    Quoted from cooked71:

Is that one of the newer led versions?

It is the first run (I think) of the Pro LED from 2015 Was surprised when it showed up with the metal backbox so who knows if it had a code name.

I can confirm Grinder LE, Donut LE, Jason LE, and Spectre LE on the same sticker on my other Stern games.

Any thoughts on "Falcon" from today's Christmas video? Looks like enough wiring to be a playfield/partial playfield - maybe Bond 60th has a separate codename?

I think someone said Bond 60th is Twig

Probably Venom, maybe He-Man as a curveball?

    #67 1 year ago

Ah ha. Foo Fighters? Just looked it up and Grohl used a Gretsch White Falcon in Monkey Wrench video which recently sold at auction for over $50k.

    #75 1 year ago

    Falcon confirmed for Foo.

    Bond 60th confirmed as Twig.

    Unconfirmed: Venom is Chewy.

I believe Venom codename is Chewy because the flyer files on sterns website have the filename "Chewy-pro-flyer", "Chewy-premium-flyer" etc

Trying to figure out the connection with that codename? Mick on "stick" reference to the wand mech? Nah the codename probably came before the mechs were designed.

Wait... I just got it. That one is a thinker!

Looks like we’re possibly missing X-men and Avengers (the old one). Both came after ACDC in 2012 which is the first game with a code name. Anyone know?

Jaws looks like it might have been named Vertigo based on the name of the PDF file for the feature matrix.

Good one - added. Wonder what the significance of that is.

    Should have been Jurassic Park.

I think a reference to sea sickness? But if they had used the word "sea" it'd be a dead giveaway...

    #85 74 days ago

I would guess “Vertigo” because that film pioneered the dolly zoom camera effect, which Spielberg used to great effect in Jaws. You move the camera on a dolly while zooming at a constant rate
