    Hey all,

Was considering getting a new speaker for Firepower just to make her sound the best she can. Can anyone recommend a quality speaker that would be compatible with a System 6? Just wanna get the best out of those great sound effects

I put this one in my Gorgar because some dude named vid1900 said I needed 4ohms. Obviously I can't compare it to the one KenLayton is recommending but this one is loud, clear and crisp - the heartbeat really thumps. Looks like the all-in cost is about the same if you have Prime shipping.

Hey guys just got the 4ohm speaker recommended by boscokid and it looks awesome! It’s been a busy week so I’ll get to soldering it in on Thursday. Is there anyway that those wires are supposed to go or is that not an issue? If I remember correctly I think two brown wires are soldered to the original speaker in there now. Thanks!

Speakers have polarity so look for the +/- marks on the connector. It will still work, and might not even be noticeable on a single speaker system, but if a speaker is out of phase on a stereo it would sound horrible.

It looks like black/brown is your positive and black is the negative.

I used these pyramid speakers In Space Station and Congo

They are around $30 per pair and really improved the low end.

That’s a good question, man. I’m guessing yes haha but maybe boscokid has an idea?

measure the size. and the impedence should be on the speaker, I think 4 ohm is pretty universal.
