If I was to vectorize some art, what should I look for when getting them printed?

Vinyl? What adhesive? Any top coating?

    Thanks!

I presume we're talking cabinet decals?

Local sign shop should be able to set you up. I have mine done with the 3M outdoor product (not sure what the number is, but the sign shop should know).

There is also a guy on pinside who prints decals if you provide the graphics. Sorry I don't remember his name, but just google the site and you should be able to find something.

    Good info, thanks guys.

If I do this, I'd like to use a local place... Wasn't sure how much expertise they would have so I was hopeful to get some insight.

Also, you can have your decals laminated for that glassy look like the $400 option on The Hobbit.

Runs about $4 a square foot locally.

Really no different than what they do outside: moisture resistant, uv protected, etc. Then just go with 3M and you know you're getting a good product. I'm sure there are other good brands, but I've never chosen to do the research so I just go with 3M.

Really the question is finding a good sign shop. They're just like anything else, some are better and some not as much.
