I didn’t expect it to unwind like that.
I’m only putting superlube where it looks like there was factory lubrication- where there is now yellow tree sap- like stuff. How light or heavy should I go? Right now I’m doing a very thin layer applied with a toothpick. Is that sufficient?
Went with 4 or 5. It works!
Before cleaning, instead of stepping down, it would unwind all the way to zero. Being a newbie, I couldn’t understand why there'd be a design feature to clear all the credits to zero. When would you ever need that?
Anyway, this was my first complicated pinball task and I’m kinda proud of myself for being able to do it. +25 XPs & up to the next level, as we used to say at the D&D game, forty years ago.
Now all I have to do is solder those pesky wires back on and un-gunk four score reels.
Thanks for your help, everyone.
