Greetings - I'm nearing the end of nursing a Mr. and Mrs. Pac-Man back to life and need to replace one of the drop targets from the massive 4 target assemblies and from looking at the manual and under the playfield, it doesn't look like there is an easy path to any of it. Before I dig in, is there any lessons or shortcuts people have learned? Is it better to remove the panels with the switches and coils, desolder/cut them, or some other method? The stand-ups behind the drops certainly add more challenge to the tight space.

Once I get it out, I'll do the usual cleaning/adjusting; but, getting it out and back in certainly looks much more complex than games a few years down the road from this.

If anyone has any suggestions or shortcuts - I'd greatly appreciate it.
