Quoted from Whysnow:

I did not jump any line. We made a deal LONG ago, basically once we got our Full Throttle it was locked down.
I made no agreement for any sort of PR. I actually made a promise to say exactly what I thought of the game; good or bad; just so happens I think it is a great game so it was easy to focus on the positives with it. Agreements were to keep it running well, provide audits, provide code suggestions as I played and got player feedback. On the Heighway side, the agreement was that we get a full production playfield to drop in and swap with out pre-production/prototype pf once any bugs are worked out and things are in full swing (my request was sometime after the first 100 were out the door)
I have to say that I still love playing it and the players seem to also (would be nice if our lights worked 100% of the time and the xeno could be turned on). Aside from lights being intermittent in/out the mechs have held up spectacular. Despite all the issues they have had on the get it done front, the game is solid and has all the makings of an A list hit!
I really hope that this buy out does what is needed to make it all happen and they make the magic happen. They have got a rock star theme, playing, ruleset, and sound package on their hands. If they can clean up the bugs and produce in quantity, then I think people are going to line up to buy it still.

I've kinda wondered about that. You go to the extremes to become a hype man and tend to get your machine before/if anyone else. You have a good track record: Alien, Wooly. Predator didn't work out, but cant win em all.

Quoted from Whysnow:

You seem to still be uber butt hurt over something but I am not sure what it is all about. Does all this hate stem from when you wanted to scam your way into the MGC afterparty and got called out on it.

So one of your friends sends me a PM telling me I can have an extra pass of his, I can't find him, or get in contact with him, and this means I was scamming him? I offered to pay for the pass, but he turned me down.

I guess the main reason I have a problem with your Hype train is that you over hype and really bias the true condition of games. Like that funhouse I bought, you said it was great deal and a great machine. Cold solder joints, cracked ramps, broken divert. Its like you refuse to say anything negative about a pin your friends own. All to help drive the price up and scam someone out of $$$.

You butt in line for these proto games and flaunt how amazing they are when you get them, when they really arn't good enough to make it to production. You think I have a thing for Wooly, I just like how easy it is to point out how absurd you are with that game. Hiding the $3200 BOM items like its some giant secret that the world must never uncover about that part that is semi hard to find.

After reading through this topic, it seems most people here agree with me. You are a pinball hipster. Any game that is loved, but not a hidden le gem title that people don't normally know, you hate. . Best selling game? pffft, you only like games that they made 16 of and you have two of them.

Its also nice of you to support spooky pinball. You sure seem to have made thousands off of scalping their "unique" games to people who didn't buy in to spooky years in advance.

Its funny, whysnow can hash it out after an innocent comment after learning about how he gets his in with the various startups, but if I fight back its too much for him.

No need for PM's whysnow, not going to respond to you.
