Quoted from DaWezl:interesting market segment, and of course Adventure Time has a lot of cross segment appeal. The Muppets
My wife's first choice, BTTF, but Muppets would be a close second and we would potentially purchase both. Not as interested in Carmen but my daughters were Kim Possible fans, that title done well might move the needle, at least to play on location. My oldest daughter would definitely play Bobs Burger or Steven Universe.
However, the problem with pins is the same problem with blockbuster movies - so expensive to produce (and therefore buy) that anything that isnt a grail theme or just that much better than anything else isnt going to make the cut. (How many in theater $100, take whole family out to the movies do you do in an average non-COVID year? I'm guessing you save those trips primarily for the Star Wars/Marvel type movies).
We are less likely to buy Golden Girls or Gillmore Girls or Letterkenny or Home Improvement before Toy Story because we aren't going to buy a dozen new pins this year (or any year). Ok my wife might like the first two, I might like the second two but $$$ goes down on BTTF or Muppets.
