I'm currently scavenging for Meteor parts, looking high and low and almost ready to give up limbs to get the right pieces.

Last Friday I was bidding on a used Meteor plastic set on ebay, I think my last bid was $125. I needed 1 (one) part of that set. I didn't win.

Yesterday I bought an entire Meteor cab (no head) with parts I'm missing and a cab in generally better shape then my first one. A single $100 bill on-site at pin-a-go-go. A fair price I'd say. The playfield even had the much sought after spinner, I'd easily pay $100 on it's own if it would came up on ebay.

Is anyone willing to admit their overspending in this hobby?

Who does not overspend in this hobby? The tricky part is when you use the word "hobby". That usually means you don't have a hobby of playing pinball but a hobby based on consumption. Much like "photographers" that collect cameras and equipment or "musicians" that collect guitars and equipment. It becomes more about gear acquisition than the original reason you got into it, because you loved playing pinball. It is a pretty unhealthy way to live if you ask me, and I am as guilty of it as anyone. (Including the cameras and guitars)

I've got a used Meteor plastic set, or some anyways....not sure how complete it is. Anyways let me know what you need and I'll dig them out and we'll see if I got what you need and go from there.
