George, head to your local automotive paint supply and pick up some 3M blue fine line tape and green masking tape. The fine line tape will bend and contour around the designs without wrinkling, creating a flat even line around the areas you wish to preserve. Run the fine line tape around each of the areas to preserve, then cover each area with the green masking tape, being careful to overlap the blue fine line tape. Using a sharp X-Acto knife, carefully cut the green masking tape midline on the blue fine line tape, removing the excess that is outside the area to be preserved. This process allows for an accurate and complete coverage of the art you wish to preserve, without the bulkiness of working with large pieces of frisket on the cabinet. You will need to practice with appropriate tension on the blue line tape, as too much will cause the edges to lift when the green tape is applied, two little manifests in wrinkles. Good luck!
