    Hello All

Just wondering what is done on the game to convert a 50 hz 220 vac machine to 60/110? I have recently acquired a re-import I am guessing as the. Pin door is setup fir German Francs and there is a German sticker on the back of the cab. Is a re-import necessarily any less valuable than a non re-import?? Game is in great shape!

    Thank you

Depends on the game. Normally, 50/60 Hz is not a problem, but newer Sterns (SAM games at least, dont know about Spikes) check the line frequency and refuse to operate if they find out a game is used in different country it was sold to.

Older games usually have multiple configurations of transformer primary, that you can change via a jumper plug (in modern games) or by wiring the transformer according to line voltage and manual/schematic (older SS and EM games). Very often the European 220/230V games have a wiring option for 110/115 volts, but not the other way around.

You should post which game, as what you do varies with the platform. It often involves switching jumper wire position on a power connector in the cab, you can consult the manual for your game.
