Hello all,

Please forgive me for continuing to exhibit my complete noobiness, yet I would like to install the ball eject Cliffy protector on my STLE but I do not exactly see how the apron comes off. I see the screws on the back of the apron (which attach to the metal latches) but what else is holding it down?

Thanks all!

I see. So just the two metal screws on the back of the apron then? I will give it a better push once the two screws attaching it to the metal brackets are out.

Perhaps the apron is like my lock down bar: very tightly attached! Well, at least nothing will fall off my LE!

Thank you!

Quoted from Rarehero:

Yeah, screws off first then give it a push forward (away from player position)

Sounds good, thank! I just was not sure of the two screws in the back (attaching to the metal latches/brackets) were the only ones.

Excellent. It just looks like my set-up was tight again, which is fine I suppose.

Thanks again!

Quoted from ckorth:

Stern changed the design - you have to unscrew the two bolts under the playfield holding the front (closest to the playfield) of the apron as well as the two screws attaching the apron to the brackets - you can then lift it straight up and out. Hope this helps

Thank you! I have not had a chance to try again, but I will look for these!

Thanks again!
