I took some pics of places in my RCT that do not look entirely factory.

@Whysnow, maybe you can shed some light, with your recent tear down.

1) The metal post to the right.. there are 2 washers at the bottom on the rubber is farther up the pointed tip than the post on its left.
2) This drop target is less than half the width of the other 2 next to it. The ball has stalled on top of this before.

Here is another look at the post in question

Next, this point up left of the ABC isles. The ball will stall here sometimes, and the game has to go through its "finding the ball" popping every kickout before it will eject. No animation of noise occur when it lands here, but it kicks out once it finally fires. Is there an opto here that could be bad? or a long distance LED sensor?

And then this. The top of the tallest coaster in the game. It has a rubber nipple on the outside of the chute. Just below, it looks like there may have been a dab of epoxy or glue. Am I missing a plastic here?

Thanks for the help!

1) The washers under the post is a typical "operator mod". That post takes a lot of abuse, and often times it will break or (worse) become bent and start to pull on the playfield wood.

2) The right-most target is supposed to be thinner than the other two. This is normal. If the ball gets stuck there often, check the target assembly underneath and see if the target ledge is broken and not allowing the top of the target to sit flush with the playfield like it is supposed to.

3) No opto or sensor there, just a low spot that the ball can settle into. Try to adjust the post from under the playfield.

4) No missing plastic. Rubber nipple you describe is just the backside of the rubber padding on the other side of the metal.

For future reference and a quicker answer on things like this, go to IPDB.org and check the pictures there. The machines in those pictures are almost always original, non-hacked.
