I was HUGE into RC back in the late 80s into the 2000s. Started off with a Tamiya Pajero, then went 4wd and a Yokomo (I think that's what it was) eventually found my way back to 2wd and got an Associated RC-10, spent THOUSANDS tricking it up and running it for years. Finally sold it around 2003. Totally regret that. Miss that hobby but replaced it with something called Pinball. Sadly no pictures remain of my old RCs.

Quoted from frankmac:

take a look at some of the cars of today

Oh I know, they are SICK, and most with waterproof electronics. I got my kids some Traxxas RTR trucks back in 2010ish, took one of them and dropped in the kiddie pool and drove it around fully submerged. Had to wrap my old stuff in balloons and silicone to get someone water resistant!

Can't believe I remembered this brand, anyone else have one back in the ole' days?
I was a teen, saved and saved for one. The first "waterproof" ESC if I recall.
