I always assumed the "Frenzy" term came from Funhouse, but for all I know perhaps an earlier pin incorporated the term and concept. If Getaway had come out before FH, we all might be calling it a "Mania" instead of a "Frenzy," unless a pin before Getaway used the term "Mania" lol...
I picked up a nice Junkyard last month and was happy to see it incorporates a "Secret Mania," although it seems to be rather unlucerative unless you manage to start multi-ball shortly after initiating the Secret Mania.
