edit: i've since been informed that the complaint in fact ID's the investor's as mostly retirees.
Whilst they may have been senior citizens (probably attracted by the consistent yields being offered by the life insurance investments, so it appealed to that demographic), I thought I read Ice say a number of times that the funds were only being offered to Accredited Investors. That means they needed to have a certain level of income or net wealth to qualify.
That said, even Accredited Investors don’t deserve the shit sandwich that was left for them by that muppet Mueller.
