It shouldnt be hard to hit a communication expectation. It's not like anyone is expecting you to say "They're ready...here they come". Just tell us what's up and we'll sit back for another 90 days. It's not like we can do anything about it.

Posted my thoughts tonight in the other thread. I am not a buyer but maybe have a read of what I have said tonight. I have not been drinking for days! Think about what I have said. Unless Deep Root pulls the plug I still think there is a good chance of production in 2022.

Of course not. Even though I didn't go after my refund, I just want to see. Either a really cool machine or nothing. Still hoping for at least a box of twinkies. At least I'm still a pre order I am eligible to bash the shit out of rm and deeproot. Where is the transparency? If the machine wasn't ready still shouldn't have done a preorder. I think it was to appease investors.

And yes RM said all that, there has nothing been altered. But we know all that (old stuff) and it‘s brought up every day, so there is no value in that podcast other then sheer trolling for entertainment purposes.

Everything about dr is for entertainment, just not the entertainment we were expecting. Thats ok, we have half a dozen pin companies actually producing pins that entertain, but none of those companies can bring the same entertainment value to Pinside.
Also, not everyone has heard these statements, so its a public service really.

Agree with this. I'd never heard Robert talk. I've read enough to get the just of what he said, but hearing him say it all and more in a succinct manner w/out having to sit thru the interviews was nice. I'm certain some buyers had either not been following the whole saga, or hadn't heard him say all this stuff. Doesn't change anything probably for anyone, except perhaps some perception of DR for a few.
I missed that "public service" part. Is Kaneda now transmitting podcasts into the past or for whom is this helpful at this point with orderbanks closed for 7 months?
Fact is, there is no new information. And for the sole hypothetical customer that ordered a game from DR without knowing about all the broken promises, well... he doesn't know that promises, so he doesn't care. He/ She will also never read what you wrote and don't listen to Kanedas podcast either.
Just be happy to have a reason/ excuse whining about the same stuff all over again and let the (in know) rest of us be.

I already told you. Some people who put deposits down had no idea how much of a shitshow this is. Now they do and they are grateful and actually understand the reality of the situation. Others have yet to come to that conclusion/delusion...

Listened to the Robert Mueller’s dialogs again and remember hearing him the first time around. Then he sounded intelligent and a little like a prophet. Given the benefit of hindsight, i have to say it ... Robert Mueller sounds delusional. But I am curious how things played out in the final contract language, regarding what happens when Deeproot misses deadlines and what payments are triggered by what amount of time. Can someone who received the signup papers respond about the specifics?

It was a phenomenal fee for perseverance and faith. Came to just under 50% I believe.

It doesn't matter. Dr have been in breach of contract for a long time but nobody is willing to do anything about it. Those that have raised so much of a peep about it are greeted by Roberts lawyers and I assume they figure its not worth the trouble.

It's not so much "greeted by Robert's lawyers". It's one guy Jason M., a good guy, it's just not worth it. Let it run its course and see where it goes. There are plenty of plaintiffs sitting idly by watching to see what happens.
