I have been to pin crossing (I live 5 miles from it) I would give it a solid 9 lots of nice pins to play about 15 (all in great shape), great beer, and good food. Still want to make it up to the pinball gallery and the pinball parlour.

Modern Pinball has quite a few (20-30?) very nice, well maintained machines. I don't care for their "pay by the hour" policy. No food or drinks.

Silverball Museum - Amazing if you like older games. Like any good location, the modern games take a thrashing. But they really do try to keep them up. I was amazed how much dirt can accumulate on a location game between two visits there, but that is because their audits must be off the charts. But... Where they really shine is their older games. Because kids don't gravitate towards them as much, it is just a treasure trove of games. Team One, Jumping Jack, Centagrade 37, games that you never see on location. And they really play well. The one minor downside is LEDs. I'm not a fan of them, but I completely understand why they use them. The games are on all day, and nobody is ever going to make JJ again, so it is all about preservation and costs.

So to recap, very friendly staff, amazing games, and 20 bucks gets you an entire day of Wedgeheads and EMs that play amazing.

I have been to all these places and would rank them as such:

    1. Silverball. Being at the beach and BYOB is difficult to top. Having 100+ games and tasty pizza dosent hurt. 10/10
    2. Pincrossing. Great selection of very well maintained games. Excellent beer and food. Very friendly staff and community of players. 10/10
    3. Pinball Gallery. Game selection is good and also very well maintained. No alcohol, no food, but they do have ice cream. 8/10
    4. Modern. Game selection is slightly better then the Gallery but it's location and pricing rank it lower on my list. Again, no food or drink options. 7/10
    5. Parlour. Great selection of dirty, broken machines. Terrible hours. This place is a giant tease. 3/10

Went to the Pinball Parlor during advertised hours and it was closed. Luckily the bowling alley down the street had 7 or 8 playable machines.

Been to the Gallery twice. Machines were in pretty good shape. Owner was there both times so I let him know and he started repairs.
