Varkon and Hercules

#402 4 years ago

A fully working Twilight Zone.

#403 4 years ago

I went to pickup a pinball backglass last week and they guy had a fully working and restored Orbitor 1. I had never played one much less seen one. Very unique and very rare.

#404 4 years ago

Predator, Hercules, Pinball Circus, Qbert(which I currently have the #1 highscore listed on pinside, yeah I know, brag)and I have a short video of me playing Krull and getting to the underplayfield for a few seconds. I will try to upload that video short when I get a chance.

video is probably of my Krull at pinball expo,, hehe

Atari '4X4' which I rescued from a dumpster. Apparently two were made, the white wood and the
one with full graphics which I had. Completed the electronics and got it working. Sat in
my shop for years. Not sure who owns it now.

Thanks so much for bringing that out to the public for the playing experience man!!!! That was very nice of you and I had fun playing!!!!!! I was definitely careful as heck playing, no nudging or anything cause I knew the value of it, lol.

#408 4 years ago

Big Bang Bar, Lebowski and Cactus Canyon. Lucky to have all three of those on location in Minneapolis!

3 months later
#409 3 years ago

Full Throttle, Stargate, Hercules, Freddy: A Nightmare on Elm Street, Time Fantasy, Spectrum, Cosmic Gunfight, Orbitor 1, Cosmic Carnival, Alien, Safe Cracker, Barb Wire, Bride of Pinbot 2.0, Phoenix, Scorpion, Duotron, Sky Jump, Quicksilver, Stars, Shaq Attack, Operation: Thunder, Humpty Dumpty, Lady Robin Hood, Spring Break, Big Guns, Grand Lizard, Firepower II, Aladdin's Castle, Fireball II, Night Moves, Alien Poker, Primus, Pabst Can Crusher, etc.

#410 3 years ago

JJPPOTCSE, supposedly only 150 made, so more rare than the LE or CE.

#411 3 years ago

Regretfully Sleic Pinball

1 of 1 made, supposedly.

it was in the backgriound of a video posted a few days ago
interesting GI lighting effects

#413 3 years ago

It’s my last rendezvous with this one, just sold it. Probably the “rarest” I’ll play until a pinball get-together.

EM Evel Knievel @ Silverball Museum in Delray Beach, FL. Only around 155 made.

Big Lebowski for me. I’m fortunate to have a pinball bar within 15 minutes of my home that gets pretty much every pin. The one I played was one of the 40 Cointaker recently sold. He had it out on the floor, carpet down - $1.00 a game.

#416 3 years ago

Q-Berts quest, Predator, Joust, Kingpin, and a lot more pretty uncommon stuff. MGC really brings out some rare beasts.

#417 3 years ago

I own a Game Plan Global Warfare (Prototype Run of 10 machines). Haven’t been able to play a game yet, as the game was dead on arrival, but we’re getting close!

#418 3 years ago

I own one Sega.s.a. Star Wars. There is hardly any info regarding that machine.

#419 3 years ago

Gameplan cocktail pin called "Real" (cigarette theme).

#420 3 years ago

Goin’ Nuts. I had no idea how rare it was at the time of playing it.

#421 3 years ago

Safecracker, Alien, Title fight, and Flipper football, which is probably the rarest game I've played. Weird but fun game.

#422 3 years ago
Quoted from KCL:

I own one Sega.s.a. Star Wars.

Wow, never heard of that one. Guessing that's the oldest star wars themed pin?

#423 3 years ago
Quoted from hocuslocus:

Empire Strikes Back is about 7 years older.

LTG : )

#424 3 years ago

Hmm, nothing too rare. Alien (Heighway Pinball) or Full Throttle, I guess.

#425 3 years ago

King Kong, Original Kingpin, Original BBB and Ramp Warriors (later rethemed Radical). Chris had a few King Kong’s come in years ago, a collector I dealt with up in Chi-Town had all kinds of rare pins, prototypes and samples.

#426 3 years ago
Quoted from Pinballemporium:

Ramp Warriors (later rethemed Radical).

I believe Ramp Warriors was actually re themed into Truck Stop instead

It was.

#428 3 years ago

I own a Gottlieb Striker. Only 910 made but most of them went to Europe.

Big Lebowski
Big Bang Bar
KingPin
Hercules (I think this is rare?)
Joust

#432 3 years ago
Quoted from PinMonk:

KingPin
Hercules (I think this is rare?)

Here's hoping a Kingpin producrion run of 250 starts this year.

Yep. Hercules is definitely rare. Run was either 200 or 400. I can't recall from a few years ago when it was mentioned. Apparently several have been parted out over the years.

#433 3 years ago

The Big Labowski, The Matrix, Kill Bill, Alien

#434 3 years ago

I’ve played starlight and defender too. I think those are pretty rare.

Does rat race count?

How about Varkon?

#435 3 years ago

Probably Pinball Circus would be the rarest I have played.

Wow! Are there 4 bottom flippers ... or am I seeing things?

Yes there is

#440 3 years ago

Just flipped a Hercules yesterday at my friend's pinball repair shop.

#441 3 years ago
Quoted from DK:

Regretfully Sleic Pinball

Hey, Sleic did make IO moon. Also super rare, but much better than Sleic pinball from what I hear. And I heard the bicycle race one is boring as shit too.

Games have different levels of rarity. Games i've played that have production runs less than 100 or less.

Pinball circus
Krull
Laserlord
Io Moon
Miss World
Spooky
Zankor
new Stars Phoenix
Scramble
punchy the clown
roadrunner
going nuts

probably some others I can't remember at the moment. Games that have a production run under 1000, is long.

#442 3 years ago

Goin nuts
Empire strikes back
Alien
Predator
Original BBB
Nags
Pinball circus
Magic girl
Joust
Punchy the clown
Krull

#443 3 years ago

Four in a row.

Not sure who did this pictured one offhand. There is also another Data East Star Wars retheme out there. I think it's the same gentleman who did Medievel Times.

How many have you done?
You’ll need a museum at some point.

There was one in the arcade of the Contemporary Hotel at Disney World from probably '79 through the mid-'80s, so every time we'd go I'd want to play it. I've probably played it 20 times but not once since I was old enough to reach both flipper buttons.

I used to play TC’s Hercules at the Asheville Pinball Museum when I’d deliver machines to him back when they first opened. It has since broken and they haven’t repaired it. I guess they use it more as a conversation piece now
