On rarest machines, I have some where 200 or less were produced, but for the
lowest amount (at least as far as one of the top known manufacturers goes), I'd have to
put these in the top 3, with the Bally "All the Way" probably being the rarest..
I'm still interested in knowing if all "Flipper woodrails" were Sample machines.
Once I know this, I'd have a couple other questions about that machine that would interest me..
Since I have a pic loaded, I'll add a 4th machine, the Jumbo (7' version), Ten Strike, but
my guess would be that it's a distance 4th.. (T)

Quoted from CaptainNeo:

what is that car one and how does it work?

The one with the cars is "Time Trials" by Southland Engineering which is a sister machine to Southland"s
Speedway which was produced a few months later. It appears that Time Trials (or at least the one that I have),
has a little different rule set than Speedway. The game is a 20 lap race. You need to turn the steering wheels
accurately with the curves on the track then bring them back for the straight aways for the car to travel its
fastest. The more your timing is off with the steering wheels, the slower the car travels. If your dead on with the
wheel, the car never slows up, but for 20 laps, that would probably be an impossible feat. When playing single,
you're racing against the machine, and the machine makes no mistakes so you can pretty much figure you'll
be coming in 2nd..
I went through this machine last Winter and there's a flaw where the track stays 100% energized regardless
what positions the steering wheels are in. All wiring and solder joints look factory so I didn't want to break into
the wiring without schematics. After searching literally World Wide, I could only come up with a Speedway Schematics
which I know Speedway is a little different from what my Time Trials instruction card states. I found like 5
different Time Trials with only one other being in the U.S. at PBHF, and they need a schematic also.
I'd like to see what another Time Trials instruction card reads to see if it's rule set is like mine, or like Speedway's.
I remember last Winter I got to know the functioning of this machine pretty well, and I think there's a good chance
this machine was released with this error. I'm hoping to dig back into it latter this Winter. If anyone may possibly
have any knowledge about Time Trials, of course I have interest in hearing..
Here's another machine that's not seen often. It's relative is both Raceway and Flying Turns, but it's closer to
Raceway. The difference with Champ, if you get so many labs on the same ball, after draining, you "Shoot Again".
BTW- Time Trials is the only machine I have set up that doesn't play 100%. After wrapped and sitting for 4 years,
I didn't want to put it back in storage. I'll eventually get it working the way it was meant to be.. (T)

I dig that machine!

Is this Jon with the two Majorettes? If so, how about seeing some pics of the
S (sample) machine.. (T)

Quoted from ejacques:

Soon to be Williams Ski Club at 550 made. Just need to pick it up.

Back when I was still relatively new to collecting, I remember I had a chance to pick up a pretty nice Ski Club for cheap ($150.00)
Made a mistake by not doing so. I now know a few collectors looking for that title.. (T)

Great collection of arcade games!

Thank You, and as you must know, your Nags is a heavily wanted machine. #1
60s rated pin.
Just today I clicked on this thread and every pic posted I really enjoyed checking out.. (T)

Quoted from heatwave:

I actually posted on Pinside that I would be interested in a trade for a United Midget or Bally All-Star bowler

Within' the past day or so there is someone on here going through an All Star and asked for a little help. He hasn't
decided if he's going to keep it or not, but if you could score a Midget, that would be ideal.. (T)

Quoted from DanQverymuch:

Which is funny, as there's another CC Fire Cracker at Martyland in Oshkosh, ten miles away from me.

Being in Wisconsin, might that Firecracker be a true 2 Player AAB? I have a C.C. true 2 Player Bronco, and
also, which I now believe to be the rarest machine that I have is the U.S. version true 2 Player AAB Hyde Park..
After researching, I was unable to locate another..

Quoted from Schusler:

I'm talking anything with a production number under 1k.

Having mostly AABs, I think half the machines that I have may qualify, but this one for sure.
I was unable to research another. I don't collect Bingos, but since this one was produced close to
home, I always hung onto it..

Quoted from pinwiztom:

thus confirming it was likely a proto sample.

I would highly think so, and looks in great condition. That's one I haven't had,
and probably not seen. Looks like it may be a nice player also. It's strictly Replay,
no "Shoot Again" right?
Being a Proto, have you noticed anything different cosmetically?
