Quoted from pmWolf:

I've got this one, too!
It's probably rarer than my BBB.
Megatron LE at #125 made might be my winner, though...although that kind of feels like cheating.
Pete

After a long several hours long download to update WWELE is much more enjoyable pin. I just can't keep the head decals from falling off but the pin play is greatly improved. Thanks Stern fir not giving up the code.

Quoted from pinkid:

Lots of cool games here. My rarest would be Fireball II @2300 made. Can't believe no one has posted a Voltan.

I have one left and I desperately need CPR to make a new playfield. Love the pin. Had one restored by Chris Hutchins at HEP but people seek out his work and I sold my really nice one. The thread is still here so anyone can see the pics.

#203 7 years ago
Quoted from mgpasman:

And the museum around the corner here features an Orbitor 1, a Punchy and The Matrix!

Well have you ever... so you are saying that the machine I'm fixing is a rare one, I'd better be careful then.

Goin nut. Bought from a collector who had to go into old folks home. I sold 43 of his games for him and he sold me Goin nus for $500. Ton of work selling 43 game's but it was fun and exciting and alot of work.

Quoted from arcademojo:

Sundance Only a handful in existence.

We had a Sundance at the Arcade I worked at back in the day. Didn't know it was all that special then but it was my favorite XY game.

I know TJ from CA extreme has been searching for one. Not sure if he ever found one.

#212 7 years ago

for me, AMH at 150, then ACDC LTBR at 200.

#213 7 years ago

Champion Pub, Safe Cracker and a sample Dirty Harry with the warehouse drop target.

None are super rare (well, I have no idea how many DH sample games are out there), but as far as I know they're the only examples of each on the Canadian East Coast.

#214 7 years ago

HEP CCC. 903 CC's made. Imagine HEP has restored a dozen? Don't know how many CC's have the Continued Mod installed.

#215 7 years ago

LOL, this is probably the only way anyone will ever get my Goin' Nuts.

Steve

Williams Roto (AAB version of Expo, only one on Pinside)
Chicago Coin Fire Cracker (also only one on PS)
Tron LE (#360 of 400)

#218 7 years ago

Prototype CSI. I think there were only 400 CSI made. This is the same one a few other pinsiders have owned. It has slightly different playfield art, no cabinet art, raw metal habitrails, etc...

#219 7 years ago
Quoted from blownfuse:

why have we not seen threads from the captain nemo people? Didn't know they were in collections. I almost pulled the trigger on this. Had a spot, was released at the worst financial time possible.

the hairy leg wasn't a misprint. It was the early production ones. If you notice its the way the art should be, but looks funny because of the way it's drawn. So they opted to take it out once production started.

#240 7 years ago

My Gottlieb Team One Wedgehead. 650 were made.

Its for sale too!!

#241 7 years ago

Good one, I see how this works. My thoughts are that this is the same as us being out on a fishing trip and coming across an angry, hungry bear. All I really need to do is outrun you.

The most rare pins that I own are Stargate and Centaur. If I get my crap together I can get an Alien Star for a little of my time. I need to get on that.

#243 7 years ago

For sure, ya gotta get 'er done. Alien Star is a real good, fun game, I'll be hanging on to mine for a long time.

People - singular. The second one (which is a special one) is aimed for England and is almost finished (if not already shipped). Others are currently assembled in the US. So there should be more in 2016.
At the same time Antonio is working on the code to improve it - in its current form it is very basic. Will post a video when released.

ahh, I thought they were farther along and almost all out the door about a year ago. That's when I had to opt out.

Mine is from Gottlieb factory. Yours is converted or original ?

#247 7 years ago

Cool! If yours is an original System 2, 7 digit BH that you know came from the Gottlieb factory, then there are now two of them known to exist, the other is documented in France. Can you post a pic here of your game, the CPU board and the documentation that came with it? I'd love to verify that there are more of them out there and not a copy. Mine came from the factory too but is as close to original 7 digit as I could make it, it's completely done with the correct colored wires like a System 2 BH. The only difference between mine and a System 2 is that mine came along later (around 7 years ago).

Steve
System 80, not just a job, it's an adventure

I only have late model Stern machines.

I would guess the rarest models I own are Hulk LE, RS LE and Shrek.
