Found an old gem. The last owner said everything worked when it was last plugged in, 25 years ago.

Well it's not 100% but its a great project. Anyone have any info on these machines?

Fairly low production at only 550 units. Check out the IPDB for more info if you haven't already.

A little rough around the edges but could clean up to be a very pretty machine. Nice Roy Parker art package. I'd check with http://bgresto.com about redoing the glass. Generally multi-player wood rail machines aren't sought after by collectors but will add a nice change of pace to your current collection. And you can't beat the warmth and beauty of an old wood rail.

The right flipper is a little chipped, any idea if these small flippers can be found?

Yes, the Pinball Resource has them as well as a schematic if needed.

We've got one up and running in our collection. Right next to our Xenon. It gets quite a bit of play there too. Fun game, those gobble holes could be frustrating but that's where the big points from. It took a while to get up and running-talk about bad solder joints! Just about every wire I touched popped right off the switch it was soldered to!

I'm looking to add the 1966 update to this "Mayfair" to our collection to compliment Fair Lady.

Good luck with yours!

This is my first pinball machine as a kid back in Mountain View California in 1969. I had it mechanically restored in 2007 and it plays like a double gobble hole machine has always played. Love the belly bar and wood railings with my high score still carved in the left wood rail with what looks as though it was from an old blue ink BIC pen...."MPV 1571 6/13/69". At nine years old in the garage on Levin Avenue across from a field of apricot trees, against three older brothers, a pinhead would emerge 43 years later in 2012. Flash forward to 2013 and its AC/DC and LOTR that brought my wife into the hobby. Kids too. All the best.
