    I wanna see Vic Camp's reply ;-

I play all my games at least twice a week. I rank them all very close in game play and enjoy them all equally.

There is a fine line between most all EM’s that are considered great players and there are many from all manufacturers.

    1. Quick draw
    2. Atlantis
    3. Lucky Hand
    4. Bank-A-Ball

    #57 6 years ago

    1. Sing Along
    2. El Dorado
    3. Strato Flite (underrated and FAST DC action)
    4. Domino
    5. Continental Cafe (almost fully playable so it may move up, on high tap it's not as bad as I thought)

I would rank Kings and Queens toward the top I'm sure but it's my next project.

    #58 6 years ago

    1. Bally Hang Glider
    2. Gottlieb Vulcan (Not 100% yet)
    3. Gottlieb Target Alpha (Sold)

    #59 6 years ago

I like 'em all, but here's how I would order them today:

    1. Target Alpha
    2. Freedom (even without the pop bumper between the flippers!)
    3. Big Indian
    4. Nip-It
    5. Roller Coaster (extremely satisfying to get a good score)
    6. Grand Prix
    7. Sure Shot
    8. Jungle Queen
    9. Jet Spin
    10. 300

I haven't gone through my first woodrail, Roto Pool, yet, so I don't know where that would fit in.

I'm going to base my ranking on playability. There is a good variety with drop target games, stand up target games, gate games, pop bumper games, spinner games, rare games, classic games, and multi-player games in the collection. Currently 19 wedgeheads, 7 two-players, and 1 four-player set up right now. So here are the games that when I walk down to the basement game room I seem to play the most.

    1. Abra Ca Dabra
    2. Atlantis
    3. Strange World
    4. Quick Draw
    5. Jacks Open
    6. Sing Along
    7. Buckaroo
    8. Ice Revue
    9. Big Hit
    10. Jacks Open
    11. Kings & Queens
    12. Centigrade 37
    13. Target Pool
    14. Domino
    15. Volley
    16. Golden Arrow
    17. Sky Jump
    18. Wild Life
    19. King Pin
    20. Jumping Jack
    21. Paul Bunyan
    22. King of Diamonds
    23. King Kool
    24. Gridiron
    25. Hot Shot
    26. Bristol Hills
    27. Tropic Isle

    #61 6 years ago

Seems like Jacks Open is the only one you'd play twice though

    #62 6 years ago

    1. Atlantis
    2. Sky Jump
    3. Royal Guard
    4. Ship ahoy
    5. Quick Draw
    6. King of Diamonds
    7. Aladdin's Castle

    #63 6 years ago
    Quoted from poppapin:

    4. Ship ahoy
    5. Quick Draw
    6. King of Diamonds
    7. Aladdin's Castle

I thought you had a "Pin-Up" as well.

    #64 6 years ago

Although I could get into almost any of them, once the colder weather came around,
I fixed a couple issues and now when I do play a game, 90% it's on the Joker Poker.
I have heard once the targets are down, there's not much else to shoot for..
If one gets all 15 targets down before drain, I say one had a damm good ball!
For a couple of months, EM J.P. #1

Whoops #10 was supposed to be El Dorado...but yes I’d play Jacks Open twice

He had a very nice King Pin

    That's a real-nice King Pin!!

    6. Liberty Bell

Ranking your EMs can be fun, but it is like watching weather forecasts. Everything changes over time.
I had buyers' remorse after picking up a Domino. I would have put it in last place. I put a Shay glass in it to make it look better, but that made me regret my purchase even more.
Then I realized how much fun Domino is to play. It's a great pin! And now that the Shay Domino glasses are gone, I am relieved that I have one.

    As of now:
    1. Mars Trek
    2. Grand Prix
    3. Royal Flush
    4. Domino
    5. Full House
    6. Teacher's Pet
    7. Zig Zag
    8. Palooka
    9. Criterium '75 (only because it is a project, and will be a low-end-pin-machine at best)

    #71 6 years ago

I only have 2 at the moment. I brought them both back from decades of neglect so I love them both. I think I will go
    1. 4 Square
    2. Dancing Dolls

    #72 6 years ago

List of my games that are currently set up and working:

    #4-roses

    #skylab

    #aladdins-castle

    #75 6 years ago

    Only have two right now...

    1. Grand Prix
    2. Rancho

Rancho has grown on me and is right up there with Grand Prix but I prefer the alternating bonus lanes and dual spinners... Both are great Williams machines!

    #76 6 years ago

Only have 3 and 2 are projects, so I would have to go in this order for now:

    1) 1976 Surf Champ

    2) 1973 Gottlieb King Pin

    3) 1975 Bally Hokus Pokus

    #77 6 years ago

I find that I play my EM's the most, followed they the pure mechanicals "M's" (Rock-ola Jigsaw, World's Series, TNT, Army Navy), followed by Solid State then DMD/LCD games. Here are my EM's, in the approximate order I play them from most to least:

    1) Joker Poker. I'm really psyched about that Ed from Texas is working with Shay to make a replacement backglass!!!!
    2) Fireball
    3) Wizard
    4) C37
    5) Slick Chick
    6) Bow and Arrow
    7) Surf Champ
    8) Kings and Queens
    9) Rocket (Williams
    10) Jet Spint
    11) Lucky Hand
    12) Captain Fantastic
    13) Cover Girl

Someday in the future I would love to augment my collection with an Atlantis and Quick Draw.

You... have a prototype...?!? How long have you had it?

    #81 6 years ago

Since last April. I posted in your middle-pop thread about it back then. (post #186)

Aha! That was during my first couple of weeks of the pinball tour... got lost in the shuffle! Nevertheless I approve of your #1 ranking.

In time, I’m going to convert a Freedom to the prototype version and make a slight change - move the lower posts in the middle-pop zone just a teeny bit closer.

Anyway, now back to your regularly-scheduled rankings...

    #84 6 years ago

Cool. I thought it might be fun to pick up a standard Freedom playfield sometime, if I get the chance. Then I could convert back and forth between the two styles.

    #85 6 years ago

    Pop-A-Card

    #87 6 years ago

I have 6 games left and they are forever-keepers. Here's how I rank 'em:

    King of Diamonds
    Slick Chick
    North Star
    Hearts and Spades
    Sing Along
Paddock - (although many think it's pretty lame, amazingly, it's the game everyone
gravitates to at every party-of-pinheads I have. It's a game I grew up
    with and had to have).

    #88 6 years ago

    1) Astro
    2) Pop-A-Card
    3) Wild Wild West

    #89 6 years ago
    Quoted from Boatcat:

Paddock/Post Time is definitely a sleeper pin, not unlike Pit Stop.
Paddock one of the first pins to use 3in flippers.

    #90 6 years ago

I've come across many Paddock pins most to far away one was here, but was a project pin and that was a very project pin.

    Fast draw
In fact ... it is the only em I own , but I love it
