I can tell you "Road Race" will remain at the bottom of your list even after you've played it!

I think I did get it working. No instruction card so I didn't know how it was supposed to play. Not impressed, put it in storage.

    The EM version?

    #15 6 years ago

    1. 2001
    2. Royal Flush
    3. Cleopatra
    4. Captain Fantastic
    5. Swing Along
    6. Hollywood

Cleopatra used to kinda bum me out, as I didn’t originally like the super symmetrical layout, but it’s really grown on me, and it’s slowly climbing the ranks.

Swing along and Hollywood are kinda butt cheeks no matter how you look at it, imho.

    #16 6 years ago

    Jungle queen
    Grand Prix
    Odds and Evens

    #17 6 years ago

    This is difficult.

    1) Bank Shot
    2) Free fall
    3) Freedom
    4) Melody
    5) Bowling Queen
    6) Saratoga
    7) Target Alpha
    8 ) 300
    9) Triple Action

EM version? My brother owned one briefly. It's a great player.

    Where's your list, Joe ?

    E.

    #20 6 years ago

Yup. I snagged a really nice EM copy last year on the letgo app super cheap. I pretty much only bought it for the apparent “rarity” aspect, but as I’ve owned it, I’ve grown to appreciate it more now than I did when I first bought it. It really is a good player.

    #21 6 years ago

    1) Triple Strike
    2) River Boat
    3) Big Deal
    4) Gulfstream
    5) Strato-Flite
    6) Paddock
    7) Aztec
(I have a love/hate relationship with my Aztec, so it will always be last, but never sold.)

    E.

I enjoy them all. "Pleasure Isle" would probably be at the top of my list though.

    #23 6 years ago

    Atlantis
    Sing Along/ KOD
    Sky Jump

    #24 6 years ago
    Quoted from jrpinball:

I enjoy them all. "Pleasure Isle" would probably be at the top of my list though.

I love my Paradise. The reason it wasn't higher on my list is because the kick out holes are such an important shot in the game and hitting them is completely, 100% luck! Good thing for pinball that Roger Sharpe didn't drag this game into the NY City council and say "watch me hit the B-hole to collect the 100x multiplier".

    #25 6 years ago

1 - Royal Guard (it's a new addition to the playable pins!)

Yes me too. I can pick out the ones I play the most, but I like them all!

    1) Surf Champ (multi player helps here. I always enjoy playing 2-4 players on multi-player machines)
    2) '21', Jacks Open
    3) Big Daddy, Atlantis, Snow Derby, Buckaroo
    4) Volley, Golden Arrow, Sea Wolf

and the rest are all keepers too or I wouldn't have them

    5. Jack in the Box
    6. Space Mission
    7. Vulcan
    8. 300
    9. Top Card
    10. Hot Shot

    24. Fireball

Subject to change at any given time. And actually, I changed it three times already since posting my original list (in the space of about 5 minutes).

    #35 6 years ago

    1. Atlantis
    2. Strato Flite (I'm sorry, this game is under-rated)
    3. Melody

    #38 6 years ago

    Pit Stop
    Bid Daddy
    Frontiersman

    ...and the rest....

    #39 6 years ago

    1. Dancing Lady
    2. Lucky Ace
    3. Space Mission tied with Little Chief

I recently bough the three 70s Williams games from a friend. I'm a 60s fan for the most part but they are all pretty good. I can't stop playing the Lucky Ace though. I think the art must sway the ratings on this one because it is addictively fun.

    #40 6 years ago

I like 'em all but if I had to choose.
    1. C37
    2. Royal Flush
    3. Big Hit

    1. 8-Ball (1966 Williams) - Fun for 1, but REALLY fun for 2.
    2. Beat The Clock (1963 Williams) - Brutal gaps between the 4 flippers
    3. Fast Draw - Love threading the ball through the gap between the drop targets and pop bumpers to hit a lit bonus target up top
    4. Ship Ahoy - Not easy to lite all 11 numbers
    5. Gold Strike - Fun, but add a ball game play can lead to marathon games.
    6. Straight Shooter - I need to work on the flipper buttons, kinda stiff and not real responsive - makes for frustration. I think I would like it more if I could resolve this
    7. Sky Jump - Really like the artwork

    #43 6 years ago

    1. GRAND CHAMPION (1953 Williams)
    2. Paul Bunyan (1968 Gottlieb)
    3. Palooka (1964 Williams)

    Current:

Argosy - this game is just killer and you all know it

Dimension - it rules. Drops and small flippers with inlanes

Jungle queen - so much fun always something to shoot for

2001 - rad. Don’t like artwork or rules as much as dimension

Wonderland - just a gorgeous game and fun for a woodrail.

Grand Prix - find this one a little overrated. Yeah it’s fun to rip the spinners but what else ya got?!

    #48 6 years ago

    1) Teacher's Pet
    2) El Dorado
Sorry, but I only have two...............right now.

    #49 6 years ago

    1. Klondike. I never get tired of its quirky, unpredictable play, I consider it a "Modern" EM
    2. Out Of Sight I look forward to playing this since a major re-furb even with a few scoring anomalies. Not tired yet.
    3. Spin A Card A fair Poker machine, rare, and fun if I'm in the right mood. Kinda tired of scoring doesn't really count. On the replacement list.
