Does Whirlwind have any attract mode sounds?

Just realized that all the other pins I've owned always had attract mode sounds that shouted every once and a while but Whirlwind stays quiet.
Is there a setting I've skipped over?

The only time you'll hear music in Whirlwind is immediately after you finish a game. Otherwise, there is no sound in the attract mode.

My favorite pin of all time...mainly because of the music/sound. Awesome gameplay as well.

Thanks for confirming.
I'm surprised Lawlor didn't opt for some attract mode sounds.
Or maybe he figured a game that looks this good doesn't need to.

I think the sys11 games had limited rom space so they choose the features carefully especially if the game was complex and used up a lot of rom.

Totally makes sense.

Guys- Attract mode sounds appeared first in Banzai Run when Lane Change low voltage switches were moved from the flipper EOS position to the flipper buttons.
Whirlwind has no Lane Change feature, so no switches, no sounds - as easy as that.

Oh- just realised you weren't talking about the sounds on the flipper buttons.

But there -- System 11 Banzai Run and Space Station had them while later pins do not have them any more, at least not by default. Don't think System 11 did not have the ROM space for that - rather that operators or bar owners asked for them being turned off around 1990.
