Hello all. First time post from a first time pinball owner. I recently purchased a Gottlieb Surf N Safari game. It works great however from time to time it will get hung up on a game cycle (set up for 3 balls per game) to where it will eject two balls to play instead of one. It is an intermittent problem that I have not found a common denominator for yet. When it does this, it ejects the first ball to shoot, then I can hear the mechanism cycling and it will eject a second ball.

What can I look at to try to resolve this issue? I have searched on this site but not found an answer yet. I appreciate any help.

Correct number of balls in the game and all accounted for ?

Next up I'd suspect an issue with the ball trough switches.
