Quoted from JodyG:

After a much much needed summer break, I am back at it! This week I will have the first batch of Twister ramps ready to ship. Also running some more red TX Sector ramps as well. If you would like to be notified when the Twister ramp is in stock, sign up for a notification on the product page here: https://rampomatic.com/products/sega-twister-main-ramp?_pos=1&_sid=3ff96feba&_ss=r&variant=40656641392823
I will only have 12 of these right away, the next batch will be available in early October.
FYI USPS shipping is currently shut down to Australia. UPS is still shipping there, but their prices are about 1/3 more money in most cases.
I am out of plastic for a couple weeks, so I am going to knock out molds for some new ramps in the meantime.

Hi Jody. Awesome to hear that things are progressing. Expensive shipping to Australia is more common in these times. Still after one and registered. Cheers.

Jody, your ramps help sell it, so thank you!
I will let buyer know decals are available, shame they didn't add the 2 pieces of cheese for ramp switches.

Any release date for the blue Dr. Dude ramp? pm sent just incase I need to pay sooner than later.

#511 2 years ago

More Dude ramps will be coming in the next two weeks for those who are waiting.

This week I am trialing a few new molds. These Motordome ramps are first up. I do not expect these to be hot sellers, but I wanted to do them for my own project. Part of my mission is to make ramps for the more affordable games available. A game without working ramps is worthless, and having these ramps available for less favored games opens the door to more new people in the hobby.

The main ramp is huuuuge! And I've got some ideas up my sleeve to make this machine a bit cooler. Perhaps even cool enough to elevate it from being the worst game ever according to Todd Tuckey!
Note: dimples are where holes have to go...but aren't done yet.

Just installed my NEW Twister ramp today and let me tell you all…it’s a thing of beauty!! Absolutely perfect fit and it just looks so darn good! My original ramp was surprisingly not cracked at all but I just had to grab one of Jody’s creations…well worth the price of admission to have an absolutely crystal clear ramp with zero alterations required.
Thanks as always Jody for what you do!

Brain fart! I do not have plans for that at the moment either, but who knows where 2022 will take me.

Id be in for a Secret Service ramp too. I don't think there is a mint one left on the planet and its a big part of the game.

The design of the ramp assembly really needs to be re-engineered so the ball could flow right.

Not on my agenda, but could make the center ramp fairly easily if someone sends me a a decent donor to work from. The bigger ones are a bit more of a commitment and wouldn't come as fast though.

I just received the donor ramp, but it will be a bit until I get to it. That curved part in front of the 3 drop holes will mean this ramp has to be a female mold, which is a bummer. I would prefer to not have to do any ramp that way, but sometimes you have to.

So I didn't know what to expect from getting these as I thought you did something with your master to make it look factory, but you did your own thing and I am really impressed. It's not factory I see what is different, but still it's a nice quality ramp considering how hard vacuum forming is. The whole thing fit quite nicely, it's only off a little bit on the screw hole by the left side ramp, but you have to really jack with it to make that one fit and I didn't want to break it. So the screw just sandwiches the plastic right now.

When I got the blue ramp it looked quite dark but once it's lit up it's VERY nice. Either way I still have the damaged original ramp, if someone were to gripe they can switch it later. For now I want to play some games on it this weekend to see how it works.

As for now, I am VERY happy with what I bought. If a purist is gonna complain these aren't factory looking or from the original molds? If other companies aren't tackling these then what is our other options? So since you did a really good job on this, I say way to go and keep up the good work!

Just saw this...thank you for the kind words! I made this ramp mold originally before I figured out a way to do the rolled lips. A lot of people seem to like the flattened lips, but I like to try to stay original if I can. I would like to retool this one at some point, so if someone has an original ramp they wouldn't mind parting with...there is a new one in it for you for free if you are interested in donating. I'll probably hang onto the current mold and offer that option as a request-only item. Also, I agree...that darker blue looks excellent in the machine, thanks again for sharing the pics!!
