Hi Folks, I guess it is time for me to make an actual thread about ramps I have available, and others which will be available soon.

You can follow my facebook page as well by searching for "Ramp-O-Matic"

My philosophy is to make some of the ramps from lesser loved games that will most not likely be picked up for reproduction by anyone else due to low volume. So far, I have done quite a few System 80B games, but I am open to others if they are something that makes sense for me to do. While I have the ability to do larger ramps, they are more expensive to create and ship, so I have not been focusing on them as much.

If you have a ramp you would like to have reproduced, shoot me a message to discuss. I am not interested in doing ramps that are currently available from other sources. I would need to borrow your original to copy...it does not have to be perfect, but some of them are a bit too far gone at times.

I do not reproduce decals or any other artwork.

Ramps are now available to purchase at www.rampomatic.com
International customers, Contact me for a shipping quote.

Updated 2/1/2021:

Here is what I currently have ramps available for:

You should 10000% look into reproducing the plastic mountains that cover the wire forms on torpedo alley. They’re all destroyed and the amount of good ones can be counted in your fingers.

I have thought about doing these before selling the machine...but I am trying to come up with the best way to do the molds. It is still in the back of my head though, and I am still considering doing them once I have that "aha!" moment.

I am looking into having them injection molded possibily

First pull of the TX Sector ramps. Going to shift to getting some Checkpoint ramps done this week while these TX ramps are being test fit.

I've been looking for the center ramp on Mousin' Around. Mine is missing it entirely including the switch bracket and entry piece which are likely going to be even harder to find... But if I can get even one piece of the puzzle that would be great. I'd definitely be wanting to buy the ramp if you reproduce it.

I’d love to get a Checkpoint ramp from you! My friend bought a HUO checkpoint that was beautiful and even with low plays the ramp was cracked.
Mine is a disgusting mess of fiberglass repair kits.

#8 3 years ago

I loaned JodyG the original mushroom world pieces to make molds and he took great care of them. He was easy to work with and had great communication throughout the process, a true asset to the pinball community. The reproduction parts look awesome and fit perfectly. It's great that there is someone making parts for these smaller production number games that would never get a second look from the larger shops.

Roadshow on the projects up next list is great news! Would love to see the Corvette skid pad ramp re-done.

Any chance for Gameshow ramps?

The center ramp actually doesn't look too hard. How bad is yours? I actually discussed doing this ramp with another Pinsider last year, but he didn't get there yet.

You are still on my list...like #3 or #4 slot

Thank you, this was a great project and the first one I have done that involved painted ramps.

Never say never, but these ones look a bit more resource intensive than what I have time for right now.

Put me on the list for a CHECKPOINT ramp please, great work man.

Mine's pretty bad. In fact, it's so bad it doesn't even exist!

Any Surf'n'Safari right ramps or the middle 'whirlpool' ramp? TIA!

Both yellow ramps are possible...the red one is borderline. If someone can get me the yellow ones, I can do them.

#16 3 years ago

JodyG any chance of ramps for Goldeneye? The other two guys on here that produce ramps (I forget their usernames) don’t seem to have any immediate plans for them would love a set if available or just that damn middle ramp which is unobtainium! Thanks dude.

I have to look at that one a bit closer...it may suffer from the same complications as TMNT. I think my neighbor has one, but he might have sold it...so I would need to check with him.

Note to all: I am going to be pretty backed up on ramp jobs the next two months or so. Currently running Checkpoint, Tx Sector and then getting Road show in there. May also slide the toilet bowl ramp for Junkyard in there soon also. I have NOS copies of both, but that one will be easier to start in the short term. There is also some talk of doing the LAH ramp and blue plastic piece that is unobtanium after that....but that is tenative.

Have you considered doing the Jurassic Park Subway data East? It is almost always damaged and no one has them. Thank you in advance!

That doesn't look like an overly difficult piece to do. I would definitely consider doing it in the future.

Thanks for stepping up and getting these done.

Thanks for the reply Jody, I have NOS spares of 2 of the 3 ramps if it helps I could send those two to you if your able to source the 3rd. I could always send the 3rd from my game as it’s not cracked just cloudy as hell.

If you think you could produce it within the next couple of months, I could bring you mine use us a sample. It is cracked in several places but complete and I would love to replace it. Feel free to p.m. me. You are only a 1.5 hour drive away.

My project game is missing this subway.

On a side note. Pinball Life already makes the main ramp.

Good to see JunkYard on your list!
I saw a mention of the toilet ramp in a later post. Are you planning to only do that ramp, or will the refrigerator and bus ramps also be done?

My game is in desperate need to toilet and bus ramps. I would purchase the refrigerator ramp as well just to have a complete set.

The next couple months is pretty do-able on this. I'm willing to pay shipping also if you are interested as well.

I have the big ramp and the toilet ramp to copy...the big ramp is a bit more commitment, but the toilet ramp can be done a bit more easily, sooner rather than later.

That was me, Jody, and I finally unpacked Mousin, and started on it yesterday. Seriously!

Here is a Pic, it is missing 3 sections....those with the anchor holes.
I dont know if you can work with it, in this condition to rebuild.

The Second pic is missing extended tabs with mounting holes....

My only issue, is its need as a gift for me to give in less than 90 days, and I dont know if condition, and now time, will allow....?

PM'ed Art...I think I can make something happen for you here. Smaller ramps like this are easier to pull off in short timeframes. I was able to turn around the Spring Break ramp initally for someone in a week....but everything went perfect also

hello, could you create a frankenstein ramp ? thx

All add them to the interest list....but I am going to be hitting pause for a bit on committing to anything new until I get caught up.

Here are a stack of Checkpoint ramps getting ready to be shipped out from this weekend. I custom make the boxes for the larger ramps, because UPS now charges dimensional weight, which really screws people who have larger items that do not weigh much. These weigh under 3 lbs, but dimensional weight charges me like I'm shipping 16 lbs.

He did sell it...so no dice there.

Also FYI to everyone else- I am not going to be able to take any more new ramps on until June-July right now at the soonest.

#45 3 years ago

Great to know I can now replace my Gold Wings, Arena and TX ramps. Great work JodyG

Anyone in the US lend the OP an Excalibur ramp so this can be included in the stock? I'm in UK so not really feasible.... desperate for this one and every other one I've seen is also broken on the top tight bend.

I would be in for an Excalibur ramp but not willing to donate the only ramp I have. I donated a Monte Carlo ramp for a one a one way experimental trip of sorts a while back. Due to issues with the ramp and the physical shape or the ramp it broke. I was informed a head of time it was an experiment no guarantees. Just something to keep in mind with complex ramps that have cracks.

#48 3 years ago

If you made it, I'd be interested in a Dr. Dude ramp. Mine is all scratched up and broken at the entrance.

Hey everyone...slow going as of late. My day job has experienced some historic growth as a result of the pandemic, so I have been working a lot of OT, which means my ramp time has been limited to just filling orders as efficiently as possible with not much other time left to do R&D.

Quoted from spent85:

You bet!

I definitely don't blame you on that one...its such a rare ramp, and finding one not broken is even more rare. As for the Monte Carlo, that one has been a thorn in my backside to try and get an acceptable finished part from. I have gotten to the point I can get a usable ramp off the mold, but the finished part is not as blemish free as I would be comfortable selling. If I can find an intact one, I think I can get it done. I think I have used 2 full 4x8 sheets of raw material testing and experimenting on how to get that ramp right so far. We will just call that one a loss leader

#50 3 years ago

If you ever want to do a run, depending on interest obviously, for Data East Playboy ramps, I have one of the two that I could send you to make the mold.
