I'm trying to install LED OCD on top of the Total Lightshow in my non-LED version of Metallica. I'm coming out of the driver, into the OCD board, then into the Lightshow board. It seems to be working, but I don't have the matrix terminator boards installed. All the lamps went on all at once when I left them in the driver board and they won't fit anywhere else. Do I need these boards or are they for newer LED runs of Metallica?

Thanks.

Quoted from RobF:

Received this kit and it is not quite as complete as I would have hoped. There are quite a few pieces not included to make this work and those don't look to be sold separately. My plan is to 3D print the missing parts.
The Kit:

For fun, mine came missing one of the nylon guide blocks. Marco shipped me a replacement. Also it isn't clear to me why there are 4 diodes
What's missing; Parts 3,4,5 from the first diagram, 1,3 from the second and 4,5,6 from the third.

I wish I saw the initial post. This is now $269. And OOS.

I have the Total Light Show installed in my Metallica. It will sometimes stay dark longer than it should, GI will turn back on after I bat the ball around for awhile (if I can see it!). Not sure if it's a certain switch that reactivates the GI. Latest code installed. Any ideas?

Quoted from mrgregb123:

Known issue on mine too. Usually you need to hit a ramp or some other shot that causes a GI effect for the lights to all come back on. I never mentioned it because I thought it was just me.

I was trying to figure out maybe what switch kills it, but I had no luck. I've had it happen at the beginning of a ball as well.

Quoted from ktm450:

I’ve had that one as well. The other little one is the rising cross mod sometimes rises when it shouldn’t. Would be great to get a line of code written in to tell the game to ensure the cross is in the down position at the start of each new ball.

I wanted to do the rising cross mod, but the mech alone is almost $300. What a ripoff!

New code! Haha. Here is the new Metallica code that addresses the sometimes-going-dark-for-too-long issue. Please let me know if it bugs out in any way. I will fix it straight away.

I played a couple games last night and the issue persists.

Hi Mike, any update on the Metallica kits?

I may be selling my Metallica and I think I might make out better if I sell the kit separately. What is the kit worth?

Quoted from Doctor6:

I would HATE to take mine out. It would take forever to remove.

I agree, it's gonna stink to get out. Especially with my low ceiling. I'm just not sure I'll get the value of the mods if I leave it in.
