Hey guys, I have read many threads around playfield restoration (especially Vids & anything sorcerer related) but I'm still unsure what I need to do to flatten (if possible) some paint that has lifted. Is it just a matter of trying to get some glue into the crack and clamping? Any help is appreciated.

There is more than likely a lot of wax/polish in that crack. Gentle cleaning with Naptha (Coleman Fuel) would help remove it. If I wanted a quick durable repair I would ask a Auto Body guy for a small sample of 2-part Clear and using magnification drip a small amount using a pipette into the crack after cleaning. If you are careful it will self-level and not need sanding. Matching paint for these small areas would be difficult if you are not skilled and would show up like a flag.

Thanks for the reply phil-lee - yes trying to replace the artwork here is something I am definitely trying to avoid. I have previously given the playfield a good clean with Naptha (post this picture) but will try more on this spot. Theres enough of a lift that I can push down at the pinnacle of the crack and feel a bit of movement so hopefully your suggestion of clear coat will work. I am also going to clear coat the entire playfield once I have finished touching up the paint in places.
