Just took in the RATM show in Hamilton Ontario last night, what energy, what great songs. I wonder if a RATM pinball machine would be made? I would be all over that...

...I mean, how many times do I find myself raging against one of my machines. Ok...sorry for the pun...

    Great band, zero game potential.

Yup I'm sure they'd love the corporate greed going ion in Pinball. So Fugazi after them?

They’d need to go by their updated name,
    Rage for the Machine.

    #13 1 year ago

Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me!

But their anti-capitalistic capitalist approach has left me sick and tired of them.
Morello is a damn fine guitarist though.

    #14 1 year ago

    They have great songs?

far as i can tell its all one big song, cant tell them apart.

    Quoted from Elvishasleft:

They definitely have a signature sound, but not quite to the AC/DC or Ramones extreme of a one-song career.

"But I can tell the difference between those," you say. Sure, its easy if you're a fan. I can tell Rage songs apart.

    Many great songs.
Beatles hits class? No, because it’s not mainstream music for the mainstream listener.
    Great musicians.

    #17 1 year ago

til on pinside that the ramones and AC/DC are one hit wonders

    #18 1 year ago

Oh, they have lots of hits. Just one song though.

    #19 1 year ago

This would be a great pin - high energy songs just fit pinball. The difficulty would be theme integration and trying not to make just another jukebox pins with modes and layout that have no relation to the band.

I like the band and appreciate the style.

I couldn't tell you which song is which though...

They went from ‘F#ck you! I won’t do what you tell me! To yes sir give me more government daddy. Sad.

    #22 1 year ago

Tom Morello has purchased pins and others that we have serviced.

    #23 1 year ago

Fuck you I won't do what ya tell me!

    #24 1 year ago

One of my top 10 favorite bands, probably top 5 even. But no, wouldn't make an enjoyable pinball experience.

    #25 1 year ago

So what did they do to become government yesmen?
Or is this like a blue/red thing?

I used to love Rage, but then they went political!!!!

That's why nobody is going to their shows. Go woke, go broke!!!

    #27 1 year ago

Ah its an anti vax thing.
    Guess I should have known.

    #28 1 year ago

Surfside tell your friend Tom to please put a bunch of images of Che in his potential pinball machine Pinside would be more fun if this happens thanks.

    #29 1 year ago

I like their music, but I’m not sure there’s enough there for a pinball machine.

Now Tenacious D on the other hand…

Man these people hold a grudge! Can't we all move on?

I'm even thinking about seeing Eric Fucking Clapton if a cheap ticket comes my way.

High energy music but not enough hits for a pin…some bands work and some don’t theme wise….now if you want to make it a RATM, Beastie Boys, Bloodhound Gang sound track to a pin that would be cool. At least it would break the ice to a potential rap pin…problem is much of the popular rap music is not really “family” friendly….could you imagine a NWA pin….not gonna happen.

Clapton?? I'd rather see Pantera. Barely.

Yeah, I'm not thinking too hard about it.

But he's one of the few British legends with a pulse I haven't somehow crossed paths with.

But I don't think he needs my money. He's not woke, therefore, he is not broke!

Wu-Tang Clan would be amazing with Shaw Brothers clips and sounds.

This is usually the point I explain Iron Maiden was turned into an all time classic pin.

Edit: yes im aware he's a pilot

It really was a great show. Looks like I was on the opposite side 20220719_212040 (resized).jpg20220719_212040 (resized).jpgimage0000001(2) (resized).jpgimage0000001(2) (resized).jpg

Yes, they are certainly fading away. Ozzy is at San Diego Comic Con. I thought about going.

LMAO I love when people get upset when they realize RATM doesn't just reflect their specific politics. It's a whole meme now

I took my 12yo Grandson to see them at Alpine Valley a week ago. We had a great time and I was pleasantly surprised how good they were.

A pinball? Not for me. But I’d certainly play one.
