I searched but didn’t find any threads on how in demand a Rage Against the Machine themed pin would be among this community? A favorite band of mine a few other pinhead friends. Thinking about a RATM Pin makes me want to start smashing stuff. Has this been discussed on here and you think the RATM fan base is big enough for a company like Stern take a run at it? Thanks for your thoughts and please don’t say it will never happen

    Dude, I'm already smashed.

    OK, I won't.

I'm putting in my vote for the "Sex Pistols".

"F--k you I won't do what you tell me" every time a pop bumper is hit. Kinda like "OK OK OK OK" in LW3.

This interest me more than any current music pin or any music pin rumored.

Put me down for the CE!

If Stern does a RATM pin, JJP has to do the Primus pin.

I am a HUGE RATM fan, but they would never agree to it. Too commercial.

OK, fine, call it "Prophets of Rage" then... last time I saw them, it felt pretty damn commercial.

They're good too, but unfortunately, neither one would qualify for a pinball.

This is the same band that got kicked off Saturday Night Live. Very few pinballers are going to know about the Zapatista Army of National Liberation or Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal (both were very important to Rage).
RATM is anti-capitalism and this is a hobby that caters to the wealthy.

    Just saying...

I would buy a Rage pin over Iron Maiden any day.

Bonus points if they include "Wake Up"

I know Maiden probably has a larger international following, but holy hell in my USA bubble, Maiden would only exist after we’ve exhausted all other iconic rock bands (yet still no Ozzy anything?).

Rage to me would make a billion times more sense because it breaks the current mold. Beastie Boys (who I actually dislike with the heat of a thousand suns) would make even more sense from a market diversification standpoint. But damnit I’d love a RATM game.

Damn - came here thinking someone might be building a homebrew ratm pin. I’m tired of music themes but I do think you could make a pretty cool homebrew out if this theme. That’s the best way to get it built if you want it badly enough

I wish this band was still around and did not break up what feels like way too early. As a pin not sure, but why not, however, Motörhead must be done first and might not be enough support but be nice to have one someday if limited. I want the Maiden pin to happen for years and many more metal bands.

Looks like we got about 10 guys interested. Somebody pick up the phone and call Gary or Jack.

Unfortunately, you are probably spot on here.

I am against making this machine but I don't feel Rage against it or anything. Rage Against the Pinball Machine!

    I've said it before:

Great musicians, excellent song writers and really, really lousy politics/messages. The overwhelming bulk of people who like RATM don't know the first thing about their actual message. I saw them a bunch in the 90's and they were great live, but they're so far afield from anything even remotely relevant message-wise that I'd rather an instrumental version of any of their tunes. Sad too, as Zach has a great vocal style but I just can't abide by his bizarre rhetoric.

As far a pin goes, you've got a better chance of Cannibal Corpse machine being made.

I can see it now, the "Hammer Smashed Face" LE version.

Definitely agree. I learned a long time ago to separate my views, opinions and politics from the lyrics in songs that I musically appreciate.

I’d take a NIN pin to go.
Sorry wrong band but if we’re wishing.

Exactly. Why punish yourself. Isn’t The Speaker of the House a big Rage fan?
