Standard station for basic work, and if taken care of properly with replacement tips and cleaning will last decades.
Unless you are doing significant, constant PCB board work or desoldering.

This is more for others in the future than the OP.
Just do not do it, most Radio Shack equipment is complete junk even for bread and green board hobbyists.
