But I can’t fathom why you’d want to replace that nice original playfield with a new one.
That’s one of the nicer original Radicals I’ve seen. It’s sacrilege to me (as the original “I got all the SYS11s” guy) that you’d want to put in a new one for the sake of it.
Hey - your game! I have a mate here who is the same, buys top dollar mint original games and then completely replaces everything. Totally insane to me. Wouldn’t you be better to buy a cheap old POS and rebuild that to make it minty? I get huge satisfaction in that - to take a near worthless broken game and then restore it to make it top of the range. Like the Stars and Taxi I’ve done recently.
CARGUMENT - it’s like buying a totally original 60s car, then taking all the original stuff off and replacing it with inferior new stuff.

Totally valid point. And I may end up having it cleared, but I get my jollies off on a shiny clear playfield with fresh ink. And crystal clear ramps. And drippy chrome.
But my buddies and I have been sitting in the garage looking at it and going “It would be a shame to even touch the playfield or cab. It needs to stay itself and appreciated for it’s soul.”
