Quoted from DougPiranha:

I just finished one. Its actually kind of fun to play.
I had to repaint the whole lower area too.
My cabinet and boards are like new. I wonder what its worth all fixed up? $1200

I won't sell mine for $1200.00.
I have waaaaay too much time into this one!

Does yours have a center post installed?

The previous owner removed the center post and added a red plastic post with
the 3/8 rubber.

I have some custom blades to put on this week.
I also have completed the side panels but won't
get around to them for awhile.

Quoted from tim_sanderson:Nice! I plan on powder coating all my bits read, too. Nice to see what it will look like before I tackle it. It looks great!

The color is "Red Wagon" by "Eastwood".
I like the color because it will work with a lot of pins.

Just bought a "Space Invaders" today from Darryl A.
Needs a lot of work and I can't start it for a couple of months but
that machine I may go ALL OUT on!

Quoted from DougPiranha:

agreed.
I kept my restore simple because I don't have the room to keep it.

Gee, only 19 machines!
My wife has wanted to move for years.
I only just started to want to move. Ran out of room for pinball machines!

Milton

Yep, same as mine.

Milton, thanks for posting pics, it came out nice!

Thanks for the freakin' motor! 69.00 eur for a new one!

It is coming along. Wait 'till you see the custom blades! You'll want some!
Will work on under cab and in back of backbox lighting soon.
I also had decals made for the cab. It was spendy but I'm not that good of an artist to touch up the cab! These will be very durable and hopefully fade free!

Hey o-din,

Thanks, I went a little overboard but that's what it's all about.
I'm still not done but it's nice to at least be able to play it!

Here's some pics of the LWJP. You may have played that one too!

Hi tim_sanderson,

I could make you a set. They are expensive. For the car and the blades it's about 120.00!
I also have the whole cab except the front being made. (decal)

They seem to be high quality. I think I should have added more color. I plan on routering
the ball launch wood so you can see the logo. So much to do, so little time!

I have a guy making me some neon tubes for the chrome rails. (also very expensive!)

Quoted from root:

Wow...very impressed. I am updating mine so I have a whole bunch of questions. I will start with the simple ones.
What kind of putty did you use for the PF, was it the same as you used on the cab? I noticed that your front glass box has places for t-molding, I do not have this. Did you cut into it or came like this? For fixing the police car, I am assuming you painted by hand, what exact brand/colors you used (same issue with mine)? For the custom grafix inside the cab (top of the PF), did you print it, if so do you have the images?
Love what you did with the legs. I will do the same on one of my other pinballs where they look rusty.

Hi Root,

I used min-wax wood putty. Use light coats. Use the same on the cab. Mine had black T-molding which I replaced with red. I used acrylic paint for all touch-ups. Yes, they were printed. the images were created for me by C&K designs. Very expensive. I have the images. They are printed on very high quality material. The red powder coat is "Red Wagon" by Eastwood. The l.e.d.s are cointaker and spiderknife. The red plastic city scape is hard to find.

Quoted from tim_sanderson:

What about just the car decal? Or is it not cost-effective to print on it's own?
Did you simply apply the decal, or did you do any sort of clear coat over top?

You can varathane the top but give it about a week to let the adhesive cure. I don't think
you would have to. It is VERY durable material. Nicest I have seen. I have the back box sides
and the cabinet side decals left to put on.

I think I can have the car printed. Give me till the middle of the week and I should know. I work weekends and have all week off.

Where are those from?

I had them made. Very high quality.

Can we see some more pics of the JP2? I have one, thinking about some upgrades. Did you paint these, or get them done somewhere?
Thanks!

Check through the thread. All info is in here somewhere!

I may start a post with more pics of the LWJP if there is some interest.
