I've given up...
You would think Speilburg was designing it himself.
I heard he designed it and the Lucas was like "why are you designing star wars shit" and had to redo it himself."
Quoted from paynemic:Lol. Let’s see if we can get enough new posts to make everyone think it’s finally out.
April 1 is around the corner for that. Granted what Year 4/1 is a different and sad story....
I asked Stern marketing at the same time asking about Munsters topper.
Answer- Still working on licence
Quoted from Toasterdog:Where’s our f’n R2D2 topper at??!!
So... George Gomez confirmed on Episode 62 (25:09) of the Special When Lit podcast that the Star Wars topper was finally approved. He commented that the approval was very challenging and said that the topper would be expensive and likely be available by the end of the year.

Quoted from JodyG:Just in time to stick it on the Home Edition...
They specifically mentioned in the interview they were compatable.

Really....end of year?
Bought an LE.
Would have gladly bought a topper.
Waited so long I no longer cared.
Saw that a topper was being developed and got excited.
Saw how lame it looked and didn't care anymore.
Sold Starwars.
Reeally don't care now.

Quoted from pinwaz:The most anticipated topper in the history of pinball has finally arrived. The Star Wars topper is a “Limited Edition” only 500 units will be produced. I thought that the cool Game of Thrones topper was expensive, but this one costs...wait for it...$750. For seven hundred fifty bucks R2D2 has better mix drinks and serve them to me. Here’s some pictures of it courtesy of Great American Pinball.[quoted image][quoted image]
Umm.....I dont think so! If what you are saying is true, they are out of their minds.

Stern has jumped the shark. But don’t worry, folks’ll be selling these for $1000+ next week. Nob, of course...
Quoted from Pablito350:Drain your wallet.
Not mine, that is for sure. At least not at $775.
Quoted from docdu72:Hi my friends !
It s impossible to find the r2d2 star wars topper ??
Yep- there is still quite a few out there NIB-

Stern shipping out R2 toppers again finally.Got mine yesterday from Cointaker. Mine was 112/500.Works great and looks badass. If they made a projector add on for it down the road that would be amazing. $700 price tag pretty damn steep but it really makes the pin.

That would be an impressive achievement. There is a node board and driver board that would need to be somehow integrated with the game. And all the logic of the movement would need to be created and tied to the gameplay. I’m sure it’s possible if someone is really dedicated but it’s a tall order.

What ever floats your boat, but why?...DE has a much cooler R2D2 right in the game vs
that topper, and it works all the time.
