I've got a harbor freight parts tumbler that I'd like to use more often, but it is so loud I can't leave it running for more than a short time, which is useless. I live in a dense residential neighborhood, so setting outside bothers the neighbors, and in the garage you can hear it through the house (garage being under the living space. Any ides on how to dial back this beast?

    Quoted from LTG:

Is it the tumbler itself ? Or parts inside ?
If parts inside, maybe try fewer parts ?

It's definitely the motor. Sounds like a jet engine when running.

It's actually brand new too... this is the second one I've tried.
