Quoted from cottonm4:My aircraft training demands that the threaded part of the post extend beyond the edge of the T-nut so I know for certain that enough threads are grabbing inside the T-nut. PBR sells these for $1.12 each.
This isn't a aircraft lol. There are lots of threads as the t nut goes more then halfway through the playfeild.
Quoted from DK:I’m looking forward to seeing how many Quicksilvers are going to pop up this year that were in basements or in warehouses ready to be restored then played to death!
I really hope some pop up. Such a great game really hope to own one someday.
Quoted from DK:Just finished my cab/playfield restore. Just making the tweaks and sound no longer works (gonna get a new board) then she’s ready to roll![quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Looks good but your spinners are the wrong color.
Quoted from Mk1Mod0:Update! So the order load wasn't overly large and I am doing all the harnesses at once by package. Each play field set has 3 packages. #1 is your bare wire and power harness for lighting all the GI and controlled lamps. Package #2 is the controlled lamp harness and Package #3 is your switch and solenoid wiring. All of the Package #1s are done. 90% of all the Package #2s are done. Once those are complete I start making the 3rd package. As I complete each one they will be boxed and ready to send. I will invoice the purchasers in the order received through paypal and send them as payment is made. Bottom line; The first ones should be going out by the end of next weekend.

What's the cost on these?
Quoted from cottonm4:Ok. I have had two people email telling me they are building a Quicksilver. I did not ask them but it seems obvious they are doing their build with a Mirco repro Quicksilver play field. One is converting a Dracula. I don't know about the other.
Anyway, both have the same problem and both seem too shy to post their needs on the board. Me? Hell, I'm not shy
These two guys with their Mirco repro play field need ball guides.
So, how many people need to see if Mantis can make some QS ball guides like he did for Star Gazer and Seawitch. I have a set of ball guides that could be donors to send to Mantis.
Let's see some hands.
I'll take a set or 2
Quoted from brenna98:Thanks for following up with the solution!
For those that don’t know. Bulletproofing: new rectifier board, repin connectors (All of them), new caps on driver board.
There are a few others, but those are must do’s if you want reliability.
Ya I do that on every ss game
Every mpu and driver board gets all new headers and repinned connectors. Never have a issue after.
Quoted from Mk1Mod0:If you dont have plans for the Meteor play field and plastics we might could swing a deal for the Q/S play field harness...
