I was confused by those pilot hole spots on the Mirco playfield too. I opted to just leave them empty since originals did not seem have posts there. You could alternatively use spool spacers instead of posts since they really crowd that switch. Possibly could prevent ball traps but I have never had any issue.

edit: or backfill your drilled holes and use nails like around the slings.

Ouch, I know the pain of that Mirco playfield adhesion. I recommend these under ALL the playfield posts, whether a ball hits them or not.
