Some Gottlieb games have a jones plug to allow the operator to select either end game, or just one ball.
Here's a pic from a Golden Arrow I'm currently working on.

I could not see a plug in C-37. I always wondered why that made that game so that it tilted only the ball away, when the majority of earlier wedgeheads tilted the game away. There is no bonus to lose or anything, so if the ball is headed for a drain, might as well take a chance at an aggressive nudge. ???
