Quick Tron diagnostic question!

Recently noticed on my Tron that the start button LED was out. Thought it would be an easy fix but turns out it's not. LED is fine-tested in another location. Swapped the start switch with another working switch-same results. The switch itself works and this is the only LED not working. Tracing the wiring and nothing seems out of place or damaged, frayed, etc. LED location is #65 on the matrix grid. I would think it's not a fuse issue. Is the next logical step to trace the wire to board and see if I'm getting any voltage on the line. Does anyone know what the voltage should be or has anyone seen this problem before? Thanks-Joe

I'm guessing that you have an LE from your games list.

There are some differences with regards to the lamp matrix between the Pro and the LE. In addition, Stern's schematics suck.

Regardless, it appears power should be coming from J13-Pin 9 (yellow/brown wire) and is 18VDC.

Thanks for the info. Called Stern and they told me 5VDC with possible break in line or quick disconnect not connected towards back of cabinet. Will start the trace this weekend!

See what I mean about their schematics sucking? LOL
