I am circling in on a potential solution for my switch matrix issue in this thread https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/dw-dalek-wobble-head-triggers-slam

And I have a quick question for confirmation of wiring of a play field microswitch - specifically the glass sensor switch.

Should the diode be connected to the third (separate) lug of a microswitch, or should it be connected to the same lug as the green/row wire?

Mine is on the third lug, and I'm not certain that enables the diode to function in the circuit as it should.

Thanks!

Everything fine.

You have the outside wiring turned 180 degrees around.

Two lugs are close together and one farther away. Green wire is correct. Swap ends on the white wire/black end of the diode and the silver band end of the diode.

The outside one of the two close together ( NC - Normally Closed ) gets the white wire and black end of the diode. The middle one ( NO - Normally Open ) gets the green wire. The one farther away ( C - Common ) gets the silver band end of the diode.

The switch body has NC, NO, and C molded on it.

Thanks!!!! Don't know why I couldn't find the right schematic online!
